Leap year. That is what it is. Can you believe it is already March tomorrow??? I hope everyone is reading this. I have only had a couple people comment on this site, once or twice. This is our link, since we don’t see each other every day. Let us know what is going on in your life. We love to hear from each of you and I know you all like to hear from each other too. It is starting to warm up now, so that means that Spring is around the corner. Speaking of Spring.. ,We are going to do our family Easter egg hunt at our house , but it won’t be on Easter Sunday. We are going to have it on Saturday instead, so it will be the day before, ok? For those of you that can make it, we will have it early in the day. We are not sure what time yet. We will have maybe a light lunch and the egg hunt and then you can be on your way , so you can get your own things done, whether it is to get ready for a night out or shopping or whatever. More than likely it will be around noon and last until about 2;00. ok ? We realize that the Mortimers may not be able to make it, so I will probably bring their Easter stuff up when I drop Gramma up at Twila’s the Sunday before Dad and I leave for Memphis. Ok? Daniel and Janica, let us know if you can make it, or anyone else for that matter. ok? I just want to be able to get a head count for lunch fixings. Anyway, let us know who all can come, ok? Emilee Mortimer has just won the big spelling Bee for all of the third graders in her school. We are so proud of you Emilee. We knew you were smart., now your whole school knows it. That is so awesome. Let us know what happens. Keep us informed ok???? Yea Emilee!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you sweetie. We are so excited for you.

Well as some or all of you may know, we have decided that the next Hillesheim reunion will be in Gilroy . It will be June 27th and 28th. It starts at noon at the Gilroy park there in town. We are staying at the Best Western Forest Park Inn. Grandma and Grandpa Hillesheim are paying for everyone’s rooms for both of those nights.!!! A hot , huge Breakfast comes with the rooms. Everyone is in charge of their own lunches for their own family each day. Each room has a mini refrigerator and microwave. You can keep snacks there or whatever for your family. The two dinners will be taken care of by everyone. We will all eat together and pitch in to help pay for the food.We can’t check into the rooms until 3:00, so at the park we will be able to eat our lunches and goof around. Bring a game or two that you would like to share, whether it is frisbee, ball or whatever. The kids will have fun doing that all together. Then check in at 3:00 and then there is a pool there to swim in. So we will plan the night when we go to the park and back for check in and swimming. That night will be pizza night and we will be eating at the Mobile home park Rec center where Gramma and Grampa live. We will most likely have a family meeting that night to plan the next reunion and that way the rest of the time will be for fun and visiting. Then Saturday morning after breakfast, we will be going to “Sunset Beach” for the afternoon. Swimming, games on the beach ,building sand castles or whatever you want. Maybe we will have a volleyball net.. Bring your blankets, or chairs….for the beach and your beach towels, because we can’t use the Inn’s towels !! Think a head so you don’t for get anything. Start making your lists and post them where you can see them…We will leave the beach around 4;00 to go back to the Inn to shower and get ready for the night. We need to be ready to go back to the Rec center at the mobile home park so we can have dinner together and get ready for our FAMILY TALENT SHOW!!! YES_ TALENT SHOW! Please let’s do this up right and get ready now for that, starting now.!!! Practice.!!! Practice!! Practice!! It would be really awsome if all my girls could please sing a song or two for everyone together as a group. Valerie thought that would be a wonderful idea also. The little ones could do something and practice a lot so they won’t chicken out. They need to know that there will be a lot of people there that night, because after we eat dinner, we are having the talent Show and Kareoke…. We have invited the Whole Bozzo Family!!! and Jeanette Stevenson(Myers) and her husband Mike. They are soooooo excited to be there and see all of you guys. The Bozzos are Way excited tooooooo. They really want to see all of you so much!! We really need to put on a great show , not only for our family, but for them. Now is our chance to show the Bozzos what we are made of. They love us and love to see us and we will all have so much fun. So please plan on this !!! If anyone has a poem, or a song or jump rope( Emilee) routine, or dance or anything, please practice it and be excited and well prepared for this. ok??? It will be a great night for all. The little boys can do something cool too. We have a lot of talent in our family. You can do a skit, play an instrument or whatever.. Also, Gramma and Grampa want to get someone to come and take pictures, so you can do something like , wear your own family colored t-shirts if you want.We think it is a great idea. Then after that , it would be nice to have everyone help clean up so we can all get to bed before too late. Most will be leaving the next morning. You have to check out by 11:00. in the morning, so don’t forget to eat breakfast before you leave!!!( that way you won’t have to buy it else where.) I will be sending out a flyer soon to have a reminder for the fridge!! If you have questions, feel free to ask!! We can all drive out together or you can go when ever , just be sure to be there by noon on the 27th at the park. Let’s make this reunion count,especially for Gramma and Grampa and ourselves. I have been thinking a lot the last couple of months about the gospel , my family and the only things that really matter in life. We have just recently lost our Dear Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. He is a true Man of God. He is now with his sweet wife and I am sure by now, already hard at work. I am sure he knows Grandpa Nielsen and other family members and friends that have gone before. With this loss , our grief is short, because we realize that is the plan and he is happy and life has to go on. He was a man of great wisdom and integrity. The whole world loved him and learned from him. He was the greatest example of goodness and a Christlike person. I hope we have learned from him and that will help us be better people and do what we can do to become better each day. Now is the time to strive to make everything in our lives positive and righteous. Live as though we are at the eve of our lives. You never know.!! We should show kindness to each other and others around us. We should always be honest in our everyday dealings, no matter what. If we owe a debt, we should pay it, if we need to repent for something or many things , we need to do that, NOW. Procrastination isn’t going to help, it prolongs and makes it worse. We should attend the temple as often as we can. Pay our tithing, do service where needed . Look at the Prophet, he was nearing 98 years old and he worked until the last three days of his life. What an example! He was tireless and pushed himself, but the Lord took care of him and he wanted to do whatever it took. He wanted to live to see 100 temples dot the earth. He lived to see 124. almost 125 ( The Boston Temple next month). He traveled all over the world and he hated to travel, but he did. He did the Lord’s work 24/7. This Gospel is the only thing that will truly bring us happiness. This is the kind of happiness that will live in our hearts and bring us true joy. This is the joy will take with us to the eternities. This is where I pray we all will be together. I look forward to that day when we can all join hands , in our white robes and work and pray and enjoy the joy we will all have. The only way this will happen is for us all to do our parts to get there. No unclean thing shall enter in to the Kingdom of God. We should be unspotted before the Lord. We are all human and we make mistakes, the Lord knows all, there is nothing we can hide from him , so we might as well repent of any and all that would keep us from His presence. I pray that we can all study and pray daily, to strengthen our testimonies, that we can all really get that confirmation. If we haven’t gotten that already, we need to work for it. It is the one thing that can help us on the straight path to Him. I love each of you so very much and I pray that you each take this as love and concern and not judgement or pointing a finger. none of us are perfect. I just want my family to be together forever. Can you imagine what a beautiful day that will be. We will be all dressed in white, have perfect bodies, complete happiness and joy. What a blessing we are all promised. I want that for each of us.!!!!! I love you all very much I have a testimony of the gospel and it;s truthfulness. The Book of Mormon is true and our Father in Heaven loves us dearly and wants only the best for us. That is why he sent His Son . His Son died for us so that we may live. Keep Him in your heart in everything you do and it will help you do your best and live an honest and and clean life and you will be blessed for it. This year we are studying Joseph Smith and next year. I love that we are studying this and the Book of Mormon in Gospel Doctrine together in the same year. I love it!! Please study and learn. Start now if you haven’t yet, you won’t regret it. You will be so blessed and increase your knowledge of the things that the Lord wants us to know and learn. Go over these things with your family. They are not too young , even the babies can gain, because the spirit will be with you if you do all you can, to learn and study and grow., That is what we are all here for., Right???? Well how are you all enjoying the new year with the Book of Mormon class? Next year it will be the same. I am so excited to have it . This is your chance to really get to know the Book of Mormon. Pray and study as much as you can. Really pay attention. Share these things with your children. Talk about it with them. We have a great teacher and I love being there. Remember you can always share online with the family too, anything that has to do with our study or whatever.That would actually be fun.

Hey this past week, we were able to go to Kennedy and Breanna’s school to see them perform in the Idol competition. They were absolutely awesom. We are so proud of them. That is a very hard thing to do . They sang in front of quite a few people. Wow!!!!!That is all I can say. It was so fun to be there. I wish we could see all of you do what ever it is you do. If we lived closer to all , it would be much easier. We will try to make it to as much as we can, when we can. We love you all so much. Keep up the good work girls…….Love- Grandma and Grandpa

This month we have Emilee on the 3rd. Dad and I took Grandma Nielsen up to Aunt Shauna’s, and on the way up there we stopped at Amy and Delon’s to give Emille her birthday presents. It was fun to spend at least a few minuted with her while she opened her gifts. happy birthday sweetie. xoxoxo Last but not least, we have Brooke’s birthday. She is turning 23 on the 24th. Now that she is pregnant, she wants $$ for maternity clothes. happy birthday Brooke. xoxoxo
