Well I just posted something yesterday about not seeing Boston and Isabelle. Well we went and got them and spent a couple hours with them. We took them to dinner and brought them back to the house for a while to visit. It was really nice. It is funny how much you get to miss them when the right is is taken away!! Jered left them with his sister and so we went over there to pick them up so we could spend some time with them. I hope that they will always know that we love them a lot. They need everyone’s prayers, just as we all do. Love you all- Keep them in your thoughts and prayers please. None of this is their fault! Love Mom

Well as I have mentioned to Amy on her blog– My sister and I were at quilted Bear yesterday. We were looking at this section where they have the vinyl lettering or can get with sayings or on a board… Anyway one of the sayings that i have always loved, but was said a bit differently was” The hand prints on the wall get higher and higher and then one day they disappear”. This is something that I had said to each of you about your children about a year ago on the family blog, when I was sending you each hard copies in the mail. It is so true. I know we have some days when we think, I just can’t wait until this is all over and we can finally talk to adults .. or we don’t have to get them drinks of water all day long , or chase after them in the grocery store, or listen to them cry when we are sooooo tired that we just want to give up and drive away for just an hour of peace and quiet. These things will take their course and then one day , You will, (AND MARK MY WORDS) Yo will wish you had many of those days back to do all over again and try to enjoy and soak up the blessings that you now know they are. These sweet little children that you have been blessed with need your attention and you love no matter what kind of day it is. That is how they will learn and that is how they will be well adjusted here against this big old and sometimes bad world. Take time to show them the trees and love the things we are given. Take time to let them see you read the scriptures and better yet, read the scriptures with them. Ask them how their day at school was and see how the are or if they need to talk to you . They need that one on one. Their friends and their TV and their music is not as important as they know you are to them. I just feel that I needed to say these things. I just know how much fun your father and I with you guys as you grew up. We didn’t have a lot of money and you always said that you never knew it. When you got older , sure you know we weren’t rich , money wise, but you had what you needed and more. We hope you always knew that we loved you and you were the most important in our lives and still are . I love the days when you would come home from school and drop you book bags on the floor next to the front door and smile and say,” Mom did you make cookies today?”That told me that you felt like you were at home and that it was important to you for me to be at home. That was comforting to me. You knew I would be there when you got home. Your dad always took time with you to just sit and talk. Dad always said that it was so important to him to be able to come home form work , knowing that we would have our family there together. We loved it when you would all get together and made forts in the basement with all of the blankets in the house. Those were really special times for us, believe it or not. We took drives with you so you would appreciate the outdoor and love and appreciate what our Father in Heaven gave us, such beautiful surroundings. We loved when you brought your friends over and we got to know them , so we could know your friends. We loved having Amy bring her roommates from college home to visit with her. We wanted to share those times. There were countless times when we prayed that you would all know that we only had your best interest at heart, even when you didn’t think so. that is part of the pain we sometimes have to go through with children, as some of you now may be starting to experience. you just wait you haven’t seen nothing yet!! Just remember to hang on for the ride, and remember to Let HIM ride with you. That is how you make it through. We prayed day and night for your safety and guidance from HIM. We loved having birthday parties for you, we loved Christmas mornings, we loved getting you ready for your dates and proms…..Memories that we still have and will never forget. We loved the late nights of helping you get your science projects finished, and coming to school to talk to your teachers and seeing how you were doing at school. We loved going to your games and watching you do what you love and doing it well. We loved hearing you sing and sounding like angels, we loved going to your dance recitals and seeing you participate in such things. We loved that you tried to be good people, we loved the way you attacked the world and tried to stay close to your Father in Heaven, and yes we know, it is a hard world out there and that nobody is perfect. That is why we should be glad we have the gospel and it is for us in our lives to grow and teach and learn from. Aren’t we the most blessed people?? We have all that we need to attain what our Father wants us to have and what we all deserve, if we just do our best to live as we should. I want all of my family and loved ones to be together forever. How about you??? Our children are our lives and our happiness. Our grandchildren are precious and help us see our memories!! Thank you all for being our children and letting us enjoy your children. We feel very blessed and we love our family. Love to you all - Mom and Dad xoxoxo

We want to tell you a head of time now, so you can be thinking of who you would get for a babysitter. this is your night with us one on one. Can’t wait!!!!!
