Well I have finally finished the last of the Disney surprises for the time left before we all leave for the happiest place on earth. We will be delivering them to you probably the first week or second week of October. You will then get the last batch of stuff at the end of October. MAny little surprises in store for you. hope you have fun with it all, because i have been having a lot of fun doing it all. Love mom

Well it is hard to believe that this month has almost come and gone. It think time goes way too fast. Soon Halloween will have come and gone and it will be November already. Well I hope that all of you are good and things are going well for the kids now that school has been well underway. I know how all that goes. I don’t know if you remember the lunch assembly line that i had going every night when you were all in school. , Coming home and dropping your back packs on the floor by the door and then attacking the chocolate chip cookies that i had coming out of the oven. Those were the good ole days. busy and sometimes hectic, but very good days. I miss them, so just hang on to those things, because it will all be gone before yo know it. Spend time with those little ones and find out from them how their day was , because they will need that. That connection with them is soooooo important. take time to look them in the eye, as I have said before and listen and give them a reassuring hug. well keep up the good work. Love you all.

Have any of you called grandma to wish her a happy birthday? It would be nice. She turned 88 yesterday. She is up at Shauna’s house now though. I have been painting her whole downstairs to surprise her for her birthday. I have painted her kitchen, bathroom, family room/tv room areas. I start on her room just below the stair tomorrow and then start cleaning her bedroom. Then hopefully Tuesday , I will start painting her bedroom. I plan on buying her a new bedspread too and re arranging things a bit. De-cluttering so to speak and pack a few things away. I am hoping she will really like it.

Hello- Hey I haven’t heard from any of you on the Indiana Jones thing I gave you parents to work on. It’s all up to you. You don’t have to do it. We just thought it would be fun for you all and make it like a competition and win a prize. The kids have things to do and so it would be fun to get you guys involved too.

Well this is one way I will know if any of you read this. I am giving you a heads up on this. I have been preparing things for the kids to do and have fun with on the plane as well as in your rooms at night, if they like.I have been spending a lot of time on these things, believe it or not. you can ask Diana. I work on things all the time.Therefore , obviously it is worth it to me, and hopefully you all in the end. I am also getting things together for you parents to do , for fun, but you could call it a competition of sorts. There will be prizes and it can be fun, if you make it fun. , because I have two scrapbooks already to go for pictures and things the kids color and do. Bring the kids in on it and they will love it. Some of the things they do will be gathered back up by me for the scrapbook, so I will need your help a little by helping them and reminding them to color or do some of these things so I can have things for the books. oK? Another words, I hope they don’t just forget them and throw them away. So if you read this, you will know what is going on and if you don’t then you will be a bit surprised and oh well, you have to do it anyway.LOL just take the time and make it fun. the kids will love it. I have talked to them a bit about it and they are very excited about it, hopefully you will get on the excitement wagon with us all. Love you- Only 61 more days………….How many of you are counting down on the countdown Disney Calender???

As most of you know, Dad and i went to Las Vegas yesterday and returned today 9/5/08. we met Dad’s Italian friend that he met on the internet. He has been gaining a friendship with this guy since march. he wanted to meet us. He knew we were fairly close to vegas. Him and his wife earned a trip to the states and so we met them there. We drove down and spent four full hours with them. They are very nice and they want us to come to Venice,Italy and stay at their flat that they rent out. They want us to stay for free. It is their treat for us. how nice, huh? We are going to be receiving picture of us four together , from him on the internet. You will have to check them out. They said they are going to learn english better and we are going to learn Italian somewhat so when we go there we can talk more easily with them. We gave them an Italian Book of Mormon with his name on it. Dad has been talking to him about the church for months. He wants to know more. The trip was well worth it and we had a lot of fun. They are very nice and kind people. They are going to try to come to utah next year and they want to stay with us and we will show them around. ——–When we came home, Dad and I took our time and came home a different way, through Richfield and Manti… We walked around the town and ate a really cute cafe restaurant. we really saw how it was in that town. Very cute town and small town feel , nice people , the temple was very pretty and on a hill overlooking the town. Great!!! It was a nice trip and we are so glad we went.

I know that most of you are not reading this. amy usually does, Natalie has a few times and Daniel said he has. I guess I will keep doing this for a while and just see if it pays off. I am a bit discouraged. i know that everyone is busy, I am busy too, but it is a really important thing. I believe anyway. You should all be sharing this even with you r spouses and your your children. They need to know about this too. the kids would really enjoy it too. They need to know that we think about them and talk about them and their birthdays, games, plays, good times in school…ect….You write and tell me what you think, if you don’t write back, then I know you are not reading it. There is face book, my space..ect.. It would be great if out Family blog would be as important. I do this for all of us to keep informed and to let you know things we learn or want you to know and important dates coming up……It is now September. 2008. i have been doing this on the computer, blog for almost a year. I have been doing this by mail and then to this -blog, for almost 3 years. I know you used to get them, because I sent them to your house, this way you have to actually look at your computer and read it ourselves.,Only not many of you do.So you can see why i think I may be spinning my own wheel for nothing. This family blog can be read by the kids and they can answer and write on it too. that would be great, but that never happens. The kids don’t even know about it!!!Oh well, I have tried.LOL Love Mom

Brandon will be having his birthday this Friday. Yep the 5th he turns 32!!!!! Old man, just like Ben!! J/K Diana. I don’t think they have any plans, but you may want to ask Diana and or call him and say Happy Birthday . HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
